Hats are retained. If yours is missing maybe someone stole it, or maybe you just don't see the hat because you're playing on a server that doesn't support hats.what is the last day of hats?
Edit: There are twelve days of Christmas, so everyone should have plenty of opportunity to play with the hats. If you get fed up with the hats sooner than that you can just join a Vinmod or 2.2.3 server and play without them.

Except for the total lack of hats. Guess we know who the real pros are around here. Go download version 2.2 and let them know how much you want fancy headgear. It's been scientifically proven that hats improve any game they're featured in.
