It's just after midnight and I have school first thing in the morning so I can't delay this release any more. Here you go!

Good things always come, and when they do, people regret it.

Finales.

In this spirit, ladies and gentlemen, I present you the Finale Update!

We've decided to do away with a lot of the things that were seriously hurting GG2's engine. Things that directly depend on features of Game Maker, with no viable alternative in other langauges. In doing this, we broke Itemserver and Chat, so we made sure to remove them. I hope you'll understand our judgment once the next big versions of GG2 come around, better than ever!

You want it, you've got it: Walljumping is back! Well, to be more specific, it's here when it never was in the first place! The thing that's back is spinjumping, but who cares about that! Walljumping! Wall! Jumping!

Celebrate an Early Easter with a traditional western masquerade! Engage in the deadliest easter egg hunt since the birth of New Zealand! Get upset that your team has four ninja cats on it!

I don't see why it would be, honestly after having played it on the Beta Client for a few months it's definitely by far the best update yet.

I'm 100% sure that this update is a joke.

The reason is following,

1. In the game, it says Merry Christmas when the match ends.
2. server logining crashes
3. It was actually 12:00 AM April 1st in Germany, when ajf posted this thread. Not March 31th!
4. looks like everything reverted graphically back to the early versions from 2009 - Zespy told me :3

Devteam, excellent work on the new update! Spinjumping, walljumping, CTF, nuking itemserver and chat...one small grumble though, if you returned to the purity of gg2, why did you leave particles? Was it to allow us to experience the lag in all its glory? Surely a convenient e-monkey with a wrench could solve the issue? Oh well, lag will be lag, and it is glorious, just like the rest of this new update.

I have nothing but praise for your effort and those of you calling this fake deserve bad things to happen electronically.

The only thing that itemserver can benefit are game crashes, excessive lag, unnecessary sprites, and just plain irritating weapon designs that doesn't do anything to improve your gameplay except show off like some fashion-basher attention whore.

Honestly, I was a bit skeptical about this, but if this is what ajf is really giving us, I might as well deal with it and enjoy the game. Honestly, people get so fussed over some removed plugin instead of enjoying the damn game.

its sneakers not snickers, itemserver does lag issues when a bunch of players have their angels and hats out.  Plus weren't you gonna kick anyone that didn't have itemserver that comes to your server.

Been looking at those posts from people replying about my itemserver post. I'm not saying I hate itemserver, I'm just mentioning of what I've experienced playing in itemserver. Yes, it's my choice and opinion on where I want to play, and for those who were taken offence by my bashing post, I apologize, but I'm also asking you to deal with it. Eventually, you're going to run into people who have similar opinions about itemserver and while some of those people may apologize, others are just going to bash you over the head while laughing at your loud and childish(?) behavior.
