Title: Big changes in the GG2 staff!

As the GG2 community looks forward to rest of the year, some major changes have gone down in the management. The upper staff have decided to implement a host of new faces into the staff, while letting go some of our honored veterans. With fresh faces on the gg2 team who are active and have a vested interest in the game and forum the hope is we can get some new events rolling, and possibly hit the world with gg2 3.0. First things first, we have decided to tackle the Gang Garrison Discussion boards. Welcome your new Gang Garrison Discussion and Strategy & Tactics moderators:


All three are active members with a lot to contribute, and are agreed upon to be highly qualified for the position. Maybe cut em a little slack because they're just starting out.

You may also welcome our official competitive section (Clans and Tournament/Competitive Play) moderation team:


Billy's already been clans moderator for awhile, but he now has jurisdiction over a new board. Joining him will be Meow, a highly respected player in the community who will surely have much to offer.

We also bid farewell to the following moderators and thank them for their services to the community:

Other changes:

A/D and Skele will now joint-moderate General Chatter and Art.

Also of major importance, upper management has gone through some changes. The new global moderation team will consist of:


However, the global mods will still most defer to the section mod judgement, as in, the section mods get the major say in whats going down unless its a huge issue.

That's all for now, there shall be more changes coming in the future, stay tuned, and thanks for supporting Gang Garrison 2.

In short, times are changing, and we want to update management to reflect that. The rest of the forum will undergo similar changes as the summer progresses.  We're hoping that these updates in management will encourage more involvement in the forum and the game between users and moderators alike. I have nothing but hope for our new moderators, and wish them the best of luck.

Also, I'm an administrator now. I'm going to be more involved in the forum from this point onward, but I'll still leave the moderators to their own devices, for the most part. I trust in their judgement, and I hope that you will give them a fair chance.

That being said, let's give a warm welcome to our new moderators!

any long-term plans for this forum, in terms of new boards or design or w/e?
not that any are expected; having such plans though could possibly revamp how popular this game is.

also, hopefully none of you admins participate less due to admin status. most of the time in other forums i see admins just starting to take an overseeing, background role once admin.

i really wish this game would take off since this game's forum is really slow :(

Couple irons in the fire, yeah. There are teams for each section for a reason now, as opposed to board-specific moderators. Hopefully when I get everything set up for them, some collaboration can take place and junk can happen.

Cheers B.illy, I'm certain you will be missed. Thanks for keeping us on track and running tournaments during the Raybanns, things would've been much more difficult without you around. 11/05/14, the Bossun takes off his hat. Never forget.

Hey everyone,

Times have changed at gg2 and the staff has been reorganized to affect that.

As of 11/16/2015, effective immediately:

Derpduck will now be your lord and savior for all things GG2. joins Hanako Ikezawa and ZaSpai as moderator of General Gang Garrison Discussion and Strategy and Tactics. He also joins Meow as moderator of Clans/Dead Clans and Tournaments. He will also be moderator of Mapping.

Orpheon will join him in Mapping. Orpheon will now be teamed with Wareya for Feature Requests, Dev Discussion, and Amateur Gamedev.

RBY, Theta Zero and CobaltBW (Blue Warrior) will make up a new moderation team for General Chatter, Gaming and Art.

We bid farewell and retire the following esteemed members from the halls of staff:

Boo, Fishmatt, Alfred, Quack, Snooze, BassieEnAdriaan, Billy SOD, Chu

Everyone please welcome your new staff members!

I actually made some tiny changes to the list. I was about to post it in the other thread.

Notably, if Skele still wants to be listed as an Off-Topic moderator, he's free to take it back. You're also getting Game Discussion if you do, though. The reason you were removed from the index's listing as a Moderator is because you're a Manager, so it's a little redundant but it's cool if you wanna be listed.

Ive had that position for about 6 years now so im a bit sentimental but youre right about the redundancy. I'm giving myself an honorary art king title if you dont mind me bloating the group list more

It was a punch in the feelings to hear people leaveing the community like INS.
And yes I've never used to talk to him but he made a really cool mod and before I registered I read the forums like when randomizer mod just have been finished.
