Its a split off of this game modification to make it into a demake of N@zi zombies from call of duty. As for spiritual successor, not really, it's its own thing, the same way counterstrike is its own thing compared to half life. Its just something different.

Yes and no, I've been planning this RTS mode but I haven't coded a single bit of it as of yet, but if I do manage to have a new build up for play don't expect one anytime soon, maybe by December if I'm really lazy.

I worked on online with wareya on IRC for about 2 hours a month or so ago before she got fed up with me. It turns out I don't have any idea how to sync bullets without making the server shit bricks. What I need is a really damn good tutorial about this shit. You know one, skele?

wareya's a boy and syncing bullets is illogical unless it's instant fire (syncing projectiles takes too much bandwidth and it isn't really nessessarry)

What I still don't understand is that if the bullets aren't synced how does the client see each bullets positions at equal positions in space and how would a bullet register hitting between clients?

This is the problem, how on earth am I supposed to figure all of this out in the long run? Yes, they might not be synced except in a host's client, but the main problem is that I don't know why they aren't, nor how I would find this out. I am looking for resources for self education, like tutorials, not specific details. Pretty much, you can show me tree's all day without any reasons why or explanation, but I have no idea how to go about comprehending the forest without first learning how and the jargon to understand. So, until I can find such a tutorial, these details do me no good.
