I've made winning caps plenty of times as a constructor, but there's one that I remember very, very distinctly in waterway that I don't think I'll soon forget.
I was a RED constructor as I usually am, and we were tied (match to 5, both teams had 4, so naturally shit had gotten serious) with a minute or so remaining. Being the battle constructor that I am, I started heading over to the enemy base to set up an autogun there and trip them up, and to keep the firebugs contained (BLU was about half firebugs and runners at the time, which is how they caught up so quickly), assisted by another constructor and a Quote. The other constructor is killed around the halfway point by a stray revolver round and both the Quote and myself are all

, but we keep on moving.
Suddenly, our intel gets stolen, so without thinking I place an autogun on BLU's side of the midway intersection and tell the Quote to defend it while I go for the enemy's goods. I manage to get in and out with the intel relatively okay, if a little charred, and I start running like Forrest Gump on crack back to my own base with like 30 seconds left. I ended up passing underneath the spot I had set up the turret only to see both it and the quote defending it killed by an infiltrator, who promptly nabbed our intel which was sitting nearby thanks to my autogun killing the runner who stole it.
About 20 seconds remain at this point, and I'm just A/M1/Spacebar-ing back to my own base, evading all manner of gunfire and explosions and flames, narrowly ducking and dodging through two or three heated firefights along the way, just trying to get back home before the BLU infiltrator could do the same. I finally break through into our base via the lower route with only 7 or so seconds left, and I was almost certain I wouldn't make it, until a random BLU rocket flies in from the right and explodes on the ground at my feet when I'm next to the side of the platform, sending me into the air and right onto the intel spot with literally one second and 3 health remaining, right as the enemy infiltrator caps our own, making a quick "DIDING" of both at once, and somehow, I was a fraction of a second faster, and we won.
I wish to know who this mystery rocketman was that made all this worthwhile. I never got the chance to check the names before the match ended (too busy tauntspinning and

ing), and when I finally DID check as the next started, there were no rocketmen on either team, so he either changed classes or quit.
