If any of you guys want to help beyond playing the game/giving ideas, I'm open to it. The only thing that's really set in stone right now is how the game will be played. And that's more 'loose rocks' than 'a solid foundation'.

The skull will have a number by it on monster cards, which will be what matters.
What you're talking about reminds me of a computer version of this game.  And that's a good thing.

Tell me more on how the game is played. It might be easier to give you feedback if I have a better understanding of the structure.

Also, if I were you, I would just put out a playable build with some very basic functional graphics right now. Just don't worry about art too much untill the game is fun.
