Let's make a game that we could publish on Steam  Drolling
Side scrolling RTS/Dugeon Keeper-esc where you control a Ant Queen and must build an underground empire while crushing all those in your wake.

Something similar exists, known as SimAnt.
The Goverment. DEY BE STEALIN' MY IDEAS!

There need to be more indie releases that acknowledge and intend to be a pun or joke on overused stuff, like zombie apocalypses, which I happen to be in the works of right now.

Goblin rocket racing. An idea from too much wow and too little sleep.

w and s to steer, hit the red lines to get a boost.
touch the black lines, and the room restarts.

swerving, though dangerous, adds a little speed.

hm, that's wierd.
a room size >= 1280px crashes my game with no explanation.

weee another version of this idea.

Controls:
in menu:
Q/W: Select Rocket (They have different handling/acceleration levels)
A/S: Select Rider
Note: While 3 characters/rocket come in the game, only one is available from the start.
To unlock the others, you need to drop some executables into the same folder as the game.
First Character Hint: A 2d TF2, better in every way except for the lack of hats (Not so true anymore...)
Second Character Hint: Caves, flying toasters, and robots with amnesia. Fun times. Also a secret character from the other secret character's game.

in game:
W/S: Up and down
A: Slow down
D : Speed up (a little glitchy if you respawn and you're still holding the button.)
space bar: back to character select.

Hit the red lines to gain a speed boost.
Avoid the black lines. cannonballs/rocks (you can touch the launcher for the cannon balls and rocks, just not the projectiles.)
A /!\> arrow will appear if you're about to run into a wall while you're BOOSTING, no other time yet.

I had an idea of an action-adventure game with God of War -esque style of fighting. Controls are only limited to arrow keys (obviously), a jump button, and light/heavy attack buttons. Combos are customizable a la Sonic Battle.

The story, setting and other stuff are based from my old childhood comic ideas, plagued by Japan's influence. Basically, you're this knight that has to go to an abandoned citadel under orders from some king or duke. The citadel is abandoned because it's completely invaded by some order of knights and shit.

Really bad idea from the start.

It's a very recent idea, so suffice to say, I have no created graphics for it yet. Also I have no experience with GameMaker. So it will stay as an idea until I understand coding stuff.

Had another game idea peeps.

Multiplayer platforming, with players switching between stages individually, so half of one team can be in the second stage, while a quarter can be in the first stage and the others in the third stages.

The goal is to get to the end of all the stages first. This does mean that someone can rush ahead, but there will be doors you can only pass by with a certain number of people. The lower the number of people, the harder the path past the door will be.

Maybe different roles players can be? One with a grappling hook, to grab other players and pull onto platforms?



Some crappy sprites I made, including grappling hook man.

Or it'll stay in the pages of my hard-cover notebook.
Maybe I should plan out character designs and map layout right now.
