Yeah, I wanted to have a good match just you & me.  Unfortunately it was way laggy like you said.
Lets try it again sometime, hopefully less laggy and in a neutral server.

You should move closer to Canada.  8D

Is it normally not laggy for you? My connection was multitasking at the time that you were both in there attempting to have a fated encounter of some sort.

Regardless, I would welcome comments from one and all about their server experience. Stating your geographical location would also be helpful.

Requests for things I have control over may be taken under consideration if deemed worthwhile/made by somebody for whom I feel a higher than average amount of affection.

I live in Oregon and it usually runs fine but can be choppy.

Hey, I'm more than please with your server.  I figure the lag there was a one time thing but as for the server it self, I like where the player limit is currently at and the amount of time necessary til respawn.  Something about fast respawns kind of make it so that dieing isn't such a big deal.  Death should be punishable by a long long respawn time so its something that should be avoided at all costs.

I agree that respawn times should be longer. Death should be a dire consequence. As a general rule of thumb, the respawn time should be set longer than the time it takes to get to the "figurative entrance" of your base. This rewards prudence, teamwork and healing at the cabinets above all else, instead of throwing bodies at the enemies (suicidal Firebugs, and such).

Wait, who here do you have a moderate amount of affection for if you don't mind my asking....

If you choose to respond to this then be careful how you answer, it may change my opinion of you as a person.

I live in Oregon and it usually runs fine but can be choppy.

I've noticed some random pauses on this end as well. I'm not particularly familiar with the inner workings of the game but I guess this is a sign that my laptop is not quite up to the task at hand. I suppose dropping the player cap might help?

I also agree with this sentiment. It's annoying to have to kill someone on the way in, kill them again at the intel, and then kill them again on the way out. The main issue is that we have a spawn timer that applies to all maps regardless of how differently each map is designed. Regardless, I'll be bumping up the respawn.

I do believe that I'll be pleading the fifth.

Maybe just down two players, to a respectable 13, like Bacon Town.

I like 13 as well, I just had a feeling that going with a 15 player limit in-between Bacon's 13 and Hooker's 17 would be... aesthetically pleasing.

The first day or two it was lagless.

Now it skips every 4 or so seconds.

Back to 13 slots, respawn timer bumped up from 7 seconds to 10 seconds. I've also disabled gibs and particles on my end.

Given how much I'll miss the gibs, consider it to be a token of my affection for you all.

On a completely unrelated note, I approve of Corky's present choice in avatar.

But your frequently mained classes don't create gibs, they create instances of 'MOMMY LOOK THAT MAN FALL DOWN'

I do remember though, the carnage and red pixel-slathered screen that AEF the deto created a few months back.

Completely agree with you here.  Not really found of cats but its definitely better than those attention grabbing things he has had in the past.

As for the Server,  looking forward to trying it out with the new adjustments.
