Chatmod won't let non-chatmodders use it? Seems like the newest version does, because when someone joins that doesn't have chatmod, they can play. When someone joins that DOES have chatmod, it says in chat that they've entered chat.

IIRC, there's a setting someplace- it's not instantkick so much as essentially reserved slots. If someone has chatmod and they join the server, it'll boot someone who isn't using it to make room for them.
Hell if I know the exact details, I'm no code monkey.

Hey, dirt-for-brains, that's a server OPTION that is set to OFF by DEFAULT. It's his server, not yours. He can change whatever settings he wants at his pleasure. FFS, this is at least the 3rd time I've had to explain what an option is. |

The fact that he showed distaste because of that one option, which Stoov hasn't even shown any indication was set to 'On' nor that he even knew of the feature beforehand; that fact sounds like he is jumping the gun and instantly assuming that it is enabled. Hell, this conversation would have never started if he had never showed his displeasure for a feature that is not even being used |
