Donate now, Mr. Fredman needs the money to make 2.3 happen. Also nobody answered my question yet. Can you donate with a debit card, or do you have to use paypal?
I think you're getting the wrong idea, GG2 isn't low on money to fund the forums/server don't feel obliged to donate for future updates >:| Sure, it's not like someone is paying for it out of their own pockets right now or anything. Noone should donate! |

I'll ask mrfredman for the current state of our funding. For the sake of open-ness: I rent the server which runs the forums and lobby, and mrfredman who manages the donations account transfers a batch of money to me now and then. He probably covers some other costs from that as well, e.g. the domain fees. I chip in a few euros per month too, mainly because I also use the server for non-Faucet related things. At the moment I'm covered until the end of June, but there's probably something in the donations account as well, so there's no immediate danger that we have to shut everything down. We're not exactly swimming in money either though. So I definitely wouldn't discourage donations at this point.

We currently have $36 in the donations account, so we can afford to keep everything up and running without further donations through August or so. This shouldn't dissuade you from donating though, and if I recall correctly, a bunch of people said they would donate once we released 2.3...
