I've seen some players, when they killed by spais, they turn into gold .... erm....Australium..Zealandium statues. Is this a server plugin or can you do it on vanilla servers?
Also, is there any plan to add a cloak time to spys?

a couple of people, myself included, drew or stole some dumb artwork, and part of the reward was a special password thing where our corpses turn into gold.
also, weren't we trying to make gg2 saxton canadian? i distinctly remember drawing shit about it.

They get turned into gold when they die or got killed. Not only by spies  . They are Haxxy Contest winners, on forums they have under nick text 'Haxxy Winner' and a golden mustache. And no, cloak time probably won't be added, because this would nerf spy as hell and KZ would be probably mad.  |

In a strange way, I would agree.
New players who start out maining as spy tend to fail to learn fundamentally important beginner skills and spy traits, such as aiming, familiarity with the movement system, the power of the revolver, and a good deal of other details in favor of attempting failstabs.
Playing something simple like a heavy teaches the skills you need to play a minimally functional spy.

This is good advice. You'll understand other classes' habits better by playing as them. Then you can predict their movements as a spy and get some valuable multistabs in. |
