GG2's been dead for so long that this may be the next TF2 demake hotcake.

To be honest I think a top down version would be really cool, it would give you more control over dodging and let you duck behind cover and stuff like that. A downside would be no airshots, and no idea how he'd implement the curve of stickies.

I don't think we have many other people playing gg2 as a replacement of tf2 in the first place, which may be a good thing

i thought of this once. it'd certainly be interesting to play.

if i were notch doing this, i'd either scrap the stickies and just use the grenade launcher, or just make the stickies behave like a rocket, except you would have to charge your shot in order to get longer shots, and there would be a small delay on detonation.

GG2 isn't really dead because we have always been around this level of ingame activity since the beginning.

The forums are just as active as before, there's just not a lot of stupid posts.

Also could you have a little bit more information in the OP than just "Notch Demakes TF2"?

Or the stickies would get bigger as they traveled (illustrating it arcing closer to the camera) and then smaller as it curves back downwards. There could be a whole damage system where the smaller the sticky is (the closer it is to ground), the more damage it does. The damage could be scaled as an inverse Gaussian curve.

Maybe that's too complicated. Anyways, I love the idea of top-down tf2/gg2.
