Been working on a map like cp_dirtbowl with three rounds.

Run into a number of issues, though.
One would be that the first round has been slightly merging with the second and I don't know why. I feel like this is probably the reason it crashes after capturing the second point in round one, too. Says the reason in because of invalid spawns.

There were also capture point issues, but I've resolved that.

Any help would be appreciated, because I feel like it's something simple. Should I be prepared to feel very stupid?

Edit: Nevermind, it's all working now. I cleared it all out and redid the entities. It's smoother to work on the builder now, and works in-game. Thanks everyone!

What Derp said. Layer your three stages on top of each other:

_________
stage 1
________
stage 2
________
stage 3
________

Then put a "next stage" entity (the red down arrow) right at the border between the two stages.

I've worked with them before, I already know to do that. I have the next-round entities, all the gates, caps, etc.

it's just that the rounds aren't working right. I'll post the map.

This is the most recent result of me screwing around with everything, I think.

Okay you didn't do anything wrong, it's just that gg2 has some weird bugs. The thing is that with some entities you have to place them in the right order: Place the "next-round"-entity between stage 1 and 2 first and after that place the other "next-round"-entity between stage 2 and 3 and then it should work.

Map looks interesting, I like your use of big hills in round 1.

One thing I'm wondering is can everyone actually make the jumps from cliff to cliff on round 3? Or are these just sketches you're planning to test and refine later on? If the latter, I would worry about the peripheral entities a bit later and focus on playtesting

Ah, well that's annoying. I'll try some stuff to see if anything happens.

They all should, but I haven't been able to test that :p

I have GB 2.1.1. I'm trying to make an arena map. Someone told me you have to put it an arena CP, but I can't find it on options list. My menu looks like this:

Anybody know how I do this?

so I've been working on stripping montane of its different layers

the only issue is right here the trees. The other backgrounds were easy to separate and restore, but I'm not too experienced in image editing and all that and I'm not so sure how I'm supposed to put these trees back together

Already sent this over Steam, posting it here anyway

All five of the tree sprites used in the background. Have a nice day.
