Mibbit sucks, it looks fugly and randomly crashes. A much better alternative is http://qwebirc.org/.Let's switch to that. |

I am using an IRC client, but I know many people don't. And it's a good idea to keep the IRC easily accessible through the site. |

Yet still, about half of the people that come to the IRC don't use a client. Not saying they have to, for short questions, but a better online interface is not a bad idea. |

my free trial free trial for mirc expired a while ago, and I used icechat or osmething for a little bit, but si nce I use irc so infrequently, I just boot up the mibbit client whenever I need to ask a question

Ok, just for the record, the crashes weren't fixed. I'm not whether this is some ganggarrison.com problem, or whether users have trouble with their own internet, or what.
People (using webIRC) still randomly crash a lot of times.
