also just an idea, instead of forward spawns you could do backwards spawns so you're always an equal distance from the point you want to get to
spawning above the point could have some problems but you could make it sort of like atalia's point

let's look at it this way
if you have backwards spawns, then the stalefight balance will be (in terms of defense spawn-point distance to offense distance) 1:9 or something absurd like that
but if you have forwards then the stalefight balance will be 1:2
and making "backwards spawns" that are behind the normal shed I have there already would make the map way too expansive for gg2's pace

i meant you'd have normal spawns be where you put the forward spawns and backwards spawn be where you put the normal spawn
it wouldn't be too bad considering nearly all maps have a large distance bias towards defenders anyways. main thing it would do is cut down on walk times during neutral fights but if the distance between buildings is going to be small it would be unnecessary
not sure what scale you have in mind for the buildings and distances and stuff
