Go for the objective or try to flank the enemy in a CTF. In a Cp I mostly go for flank/ abuse long range momentum shots. In Koth/Arena I just dance the Cp and murder those who try to take it. Burn everything and anyone. Use airburst to reflect rockets and put out teammates. Really dosn't change based on game mode. Spam down a long corridor (I can't aim worth a darn with this class). Play an RJ map Hold M1 and murder all who come to face me in a CP/Koth/Arena. In a CTF I just draw attention away from the Runner and cover his escape. Arial, Zone, Sticky Bed. If it moves I frag it. In a CTF I might try grabbing the Intel and then stickyjumping to get out quickly. Play an RJ. Heal my buds, needle my enemies, uber my . Build an Autogun on a choak point and spam with my shotgun. Defend the Intel, CP's and such. Switch to a different class Get up and away from combat then sniper the enemies Medic. Use the scope to find out where a rush is coming from. Beg the Devs to buff this class.

: Pretty good. It's what I main during wars./ My skill in dancing has decreased, but I tend to go for the intel ASAP unless there's an enemy in our base. : ^/ I tend to play Pyro as a close range class (AS IT WAS MEANT TO BE.) and tend to not flareblast often. Tend to airblast rockets and stickys. : Good, but never played anything competitive with it./ I'm a midrange rocketman. Nothing much else to say, although my aim can be a bit shaky. : See Scout and Pyro./ My aim is great. I tend to not understand the timing to retreat and sandviching. (although I'm getting the hang of it) : Still debating whether to play more often./ I'm ok, but I still need to play more to get better. : Good. Wouldn't stake my life on it, but I'm pretty good./ I can heal pretty well, but I have a loose trigger finger for ubers. Not much else to say. : The first class I ever played. Also my favorite, as well as my best class./ I tend to play defensive more than offensive, but when I do go on offense, I tend to use my shoutgun more than my autogun. I also place my autoguns in good positions more often than not. : Decent./ I tend to use my revolver than my knife, and my stab timings need to be better. : Pretty good./ I tend to use my rifle like a shotgun. I rarely camp, and keep a listening ear. lolwhat/ I rarely ever play it. When I do, I'm no star at it. Getting hit by stabs is my main weakness. I KNOW IT'S COMING, BUT THE RANGE SCREWS ME UP

Never expected this to reach two pages... might as well post mine. - Love this class! Aim for the objective and annoy enemies. Can actually kill with the Runner, heh. - Have no idea how to aim, but I use it for a push and corridors. - Hit-and-run and airblast stickies/rockets. (for some odd reason I can't airblast without concentrating) - Have no idea to actually use this, but I use it for space control and defending (maybe). I barely eat my sandvich. - Have no idea to use this, but one time I played Deto and killed a couple of people who were in a group. So... precision/group control? - In my introductory post, I said I mained Healer. I lied. I play as Healer occasionally. When I do, I heal everyone but I don't exactly know which class is good for what in ubers. (Obviously no Snipers/Engis/Medic chains) - I use my sentry as a distraction. Other than that, I have no idea... other than to defend. - Funnest and funniest class ever. Hilarious to see the other team freaking out because of a spy. I'm a revolver spy and I use him to assist on kills (even though 70% are actual kills) and precision killing. - yay for wasting a player slot - Bubble for getting the other team waste on bullets, press forward (or backward when needed) and press m2 all the way.

I tend not to play Runner, i'm quite horrible at getting in and avoiding getting hit while I attempt to dance. Burn 'em then push 'em away, let the afterburn add die off before going in. JUMP N' SHOOT MAN. Jump + M1, let it rain bullets. I have no idea why but I always seem to time aerials it wrong. Gunspin like an idiot, fret when i don't have a medibuddy. I only uber Heavy, Pyro or Quote unless said options aren't there. Put my sentry in a place where it will generally piss off an enemy, like a place with alot of crossovers. Revolverspam from a distance, hope to god I hit. Same as I rocketman, except it's long range. yes when you learn to dodge like close range classes should do and learn that fatties flip the fuck out when you launch them in the air it's pretty easy

I'm decent. Never stop moving, keep using momentum to your advantage, ambush slower enemies like a squirrel on crack. Oh, and intel grabbing. I'm decent. Gunspin, roast stupid scouts alive, roast anyone dumb enough to come close, and annoy the hell out of Rocketmen. I'm decent. Learn to time rockets right, jump like the floor's on fire, keep fatties at bay and take out anything standing still. I'm decent. Point at the guy wearing the other color and hold down the button on your mouse your index finger lies on. The only time I use him is when I'm bored and want to play as a turtle. Plant mines on intel. Blow people up. Gibs everywhere. I'm decent. Heal people, back up and needlespam when pursued, ubercharge the high DPS classes. Don't let any teammate dip below 1/2 health. I'm decent. Learn good autogun placement. Lure gullible fools into my autogun. Ambush and dance like a fatter Runner. I'm decent. Use the revolver a lot. Abuse its ungodly range. Seriously. You can mow down Overweights and autoguns with that thing and they won't even notice. I don't know how to aim. I only ever use him in stages where you can push people off ledges and cackle as they fall to their deaths. Getting hit by stabs is my main weakness. I KNOW IT'S COMING, BUT THE RANGE SCREWS ME UP I know that feel. I know that feel hard.

Dance around everything that shoots at me within mid-range. Abuse scattergun range. Airblast every if not all projectiles coming at me if not under enemy fire. Light up multiple enemies or single enemies if at close range or charging. Rocketjump, consuming 2 rockets leaving 2 to kill weak targets, if I encounter them while flying in the air. Abuse diagonal spamming areas. Occasionally shoot a small burst of bullets to spy check. Fire small bursts and charge in to abuse range. Cover for teammates if they are at low health. Do constant aggression to target. Occasionally lay sticky traps for players. Heal multiple targets to about 1/2 of their health, heal more if no enemies are around. Jump around constantly to avoid projectiles at targets. Strafe behind teammates to avoid massive damage. Put down autogun in a good position at the base or close to the base. When team gains ground, build autogun in an area where it will deny that area. I don't play him a lot. Shoot at enemies at close range when behind them. Do the fish thing and make sure I have a range advantage at all times. If I am at close range behind cover charge my shot and fire, if I am in close range in under fire, aim while spamming m1. I only play him/curly when I joke around.

: Move from side to side, and then jump while moving from side to side, shooting as you go. : Try the same thing as runner, but if it doesn't work try luring them with flare and then getting into tight corridors and stuff. : Aim, predict where the guy is going according to his speed and possible intentions, and then click to shoot. : Jump. Shoot. Repeat. : BWAHAHAHAHA LET'S SET STICKY TRAP GUYZ AND HOPE NO ONE'S ROCKETMANG : Get ready to run like a coward at all times, but heal useful people. If they're being dumb refuse service. : Set up shop, shoot to draw opponents in, move your autogun with the front lines. Hiding like a coward doesn't work that well because spah. : Cloak, spam revolver, only try to stab if the opponent is immobile or being dumb or if you feel really lucky. : First hide like a coward in a place with a good vantage point. Follow rocketmang instructions and then relocate after four or five shots. : BWAHAHAHAHA LET'S HOPE NO ONE REMOTELY SMART IS ON THE OTHER TEAM BECAUSE TERRIBLE WITH THIS CLASS

Not my best class. I tend to either get too close and completely miss all gun-to-chest shots or I stay too far and just do chip damage. When I at least play at a range I do manage to somewhat avoid most damage. I more or less do strategize ideal positioning and ranges with this class but I also tend to play aggressively and reckless. Being the second fastest class I don't really prioritize the Pyro's health/life over doing high damage to prime targets. I just rambo it with this class, rockets blazing with mostly medium-to-high prediction based aiming shots. With recent changes to Healing and Ammo, I have been retreating more and engaging fights more selectively due to ammo shortage. I position myself more for self survivability over being in spots where I can do more damage. Crowd control and Healer harassment. Using him is fun as long as you know how to manipulate enemies to forcibly engage, retreat, and/or stall. I usually support the best person on the team and sometimes take hits for them when they are low on hp. I do not follow people into suicide missions unless the enemy team are at a disadvantage. I sometimes make allies wait for me if my hp is low and there is a high chance of me dieing. I prioritize offense and positioning with this class over anything. I try to put the autogun in the places where it will be the hardest to hit over places where it can target the most area. I Sometimes find myself sacrificing my own life so the autogun may live. I use this class more to long range snipe than I do to stab. I don't stab unless I have a good idea of my enemy's habits and/or current path. I aim down choke points more than I aim at open area targets. I rarely stay back to defend anything unless necessary and I would rather support teammates from a distance than in the front were my shots can get blocked. That is unless I have no choice.

Flarespam for the ages. I feel like this class needs to abuse terrain like crazy to be most effective, but airburst/flareburst is just too fun, so who cares about effectiveness. Cautious but aggressive. Fire rockets at things, fail to airshot but try anyway, retreat if I need to reload. Also, rocketjump all the time forever. Wait, this class needs an actual playstyle? I just shoot the enemy and refuse to die. I don't think there's actual complexity aside from not being in the wrong place. Bomb traps are one thing, but bombjumping is way more fun. Again, who cares about effectiveness? Be overpowered if my team is halfway decent, be useless if my team is useless. Given my record, I don't play this one very often. Babysitting autoguns is for losers. March out there and be a useless version of a runner while my autogun invariably becomes more reliable than my team. Yes, even if it's easily stabbed. Like errybody says, revolver > knife. Another class that depends on my team not being terrible, but still, a distraction is a distraction. Somewhere along the line I actually got really good at this class, but being unable to fire through teammates (and them hopping in your line of sight like the morons they are) makes this an aggravating choice a lot of the time. I don't often play the secret class, but when I do, I find it to be rather delightful and effective. Plus, nobody expects you to be good at it. Come chase me guys! I promise I'm not just distracting you and whittling your health down while my team shows up!
