x11 Okay, but there are people out there who are much better at being twitchy and having fast reaction speeds.
 x12 I don't play this class because I don't enjoy dying. They aren't the excellent anti-spies they were in TF2.
 x13 Fun class, extremely decent, but I liked them better before they put a range limit on the rockets.
 x14 If my team has an abundance of medics, I'll play heavy. Very decent class, just know when to push and retreat.
 x15 I know this is probably the best class, judging by the insane demomen I've seen. But I never play demoman.
 x16 I play the immortal troll medic who steals kills and leaves idiot players to die. My best class.
 x17 Not so fun to play, but huge credit to team. I'm good enough.

 x11 Run around pretending to know what I'm doing, try to give orders to my team via bubbles, leave server due to team being retarded.
 x12 Don't play him a lot, I used to when he was close enough to ok on some maps.
 x13 Oh crap I used to be great at airshots before, now I just get killed by everyone.
 x14 Get danced by scouts and stabbed all the time, which I deserve to.
 x15 Hide behind a crate and spam Angel
 x16 Really depends on my team.
 x17 When I do play him, build sentries in random spots on the map.
 x18 Feel like an assassin, look ridiculous.
 x19 Hit someone in the head because I somehow think of sniper bullets as projectiles with an arc Sad

x24 Eat rockets then switch class.

x25 Commit sudoku near spies.

x26 Parties everywhere.

x27 Place a turret just to see every class kill it instantly. Also sentry nests.

x29 Play to win. If my mindset is focused and my lag isn't shit, expect a good fight.

curly Use the bubbles for stickies and shotgun ammo. Other than that, hope the enemy can't aim/jump.

Snipers are weak. Any class but heavy can take them on 1 v 1. I find that the skilled demomen are terrifying. They are long range, can easily target a medic in a group of enemies, kill most classes in three hits, are great against turrets, and are highly mobile.

Back in the 1.0 days, everyone would have agreed with you on that one. However, the point of sniping is to take them out from afar, which many snipers tend to do quite efficiently. They can't 1v1 people as efficiently as other classes, but then again, they're not supposed to.

detonator aerial spam is useless except for point farming and kill-for-kill tradeoffs, they are close to useless in actual comp matches unless you know how to trap right. any class can do his job easier and better, and more confidently partake in sweet medic heals without getting the medic into a deep load of shit. specifically runner for turrets and medics. also, deto's mobility counts for shit in close combat which is what is ideal for beating back a deto. detos stats are also currently awful and he's easily one the weaker classes of the game. "good detos" usually top the scoreboard but do shit all for the team. offensive deto ubers are usually useless too

snipers are terrifying when used right, I don't get what you're saying about him being weak. the 1v1 argument is pretty moot, as they can pick you off as you try to close in and engage the 1v1. classes like engie, runner, q/c, and medic have no real counters to a sniper 1v1. they are sitting ducks. first of all his range is the best in the game (obviously) second of all he can two shot a runner at full charge, and pick off a medic much easier. he adds a lot of pressure on advancing pushes by softening up attackers so the rest of your team mops up. they can also stop backcaps more efficiently then a deto if the runners made it out, because trying to chase down someone as deto is hard as shit, especially if its a runner and you are lobbing one sticky at a time like a douchebag. whereas with a sniper all you need is a clear vantage point and good aim and the runner is shot

I find that a good demoman is more accurate and damaging at medium/close range than a rocketman, making skilled demoman a superior assault class. They can take out most classes with three well-placed shots very quickly.

In my experience, the times when a sniper has both a clear shot and a range advantage are few and far between. I don't think snipers are useless, I just think that there are only a few maps/positions that make snipers valuable to their team. When I encounter a sniper that isn't being blocked by his team, it's at close range. Literally every class outguns a sniper at close range, including the medic. I admit the possibility that these are just failsnipers, and that there are good snipers like yourself who can work magic with the class. I've just rarely seen snipers who aspire to more than spybait.

Also, I'd like to point out that medic is an extremely good 1 v 1 character because of their ability to retreat and regenerate, beaten only by the scout.

Snipers are for me one of the most OP things that exist. They can 3-shot almost any class (so kill in little more than 6 seconds), one of those shots being before you even see them, the second when they're at the edge of your screen, and then you have 2 seconds to kill the sniper before you are KO.

Scoot: Attempting to dance and harass long-range
Pierro: W+M1,+M2,M1+M2, occasional taunt+z5
Soldier: Shooting at ground where they'll be, rinse and repeat, occasional z5
Hoovy: W+M1, aiming slightly upwards, occasional breakfast between waves
Demodemo: Going backwards, spamming stickies at ground, occasional long-range harassing with airshots
Midick: Healing everyone, occasional syringes to assist heavies/soldiers
N-Gin: Go defense, put turret in chokepoint, spam one shot, occasional clip-spamming if invisible blood.
iSpy: Facestabs, revolver support, back-revolver; you name it, I do it. Also occasional z5
Sniphurr: Stand in one high place, aim and shoot, rinse and repeat, occasional taunt+z5
Cote/Querly: Bubble shield, blades, rinse and repeat when blade meter is empty, z5 for each kill you get, taunt+z5 for occasional bubble kill

And that's the hyper-serious version of how I play.
Oh and did I mention that a lot of stuff happens occasionally to me? :V

I'm really intrigued now about these good snipers. I see it's perfectly possible for a sniper to do this, I just never encounter the good ones. I usually find the snipers who think they're SILENT AND DEADLY MASTER ASSASSIN DEATH MACHINES who try to go assault.
