As for the Elites what if I made the sprites or something. I meen Halo is about killing vaporizing/fraging/sniping aliens so it only makes sense to have some aliens in Halo mot.

Halo multiplayer is mostly about shooting the other colored spartans. This idea would take a lot of work. I would need to give them all Elite based weapons, give the spartans human weapons and change their armor colors back to their original green (for consistency), new sound effects, new death sounds, new taunts, and all by hand since I don't have any Elite sprites to work with. I'd also need to get the Elite helmet visor shadow and colorize a whole new set of HUD sprites to purple to make it consistent with Halo 3.

It would also be aggrivating for the player, since Elites are much taller than spartans, and certain classes are already too tall for their hitboxes, like Pyro and Engie.

I'd pretty much need to change the whole game.

Egh, I'm not keen on the idea of having one team be Spartans and the other the alien faction.  Besides, Multiplayer in Halo has always been about dicking over the other human characters, teabagging their corpses, and then yelling into the microphone with a cracking prepubescent voice.  Maybe I should add that last option as an easter egg.  Or in Party mode turn every word bubble into a pimply faced youth accompanied by a screaming brat sound.

Also I love the HUD way too much to make an alternate one for another race.

Hey, quick suggestion: change the healer's needler to a spiker. it's essentially the same thing but with less 'expect people to blow up'

There's nothing more appropriate to replace the medic's needle gun than the needler. The spiker doesn't arch, doesn't have 40 ammunition, doesn't do as little damage as a needle does (preexplosion), the only thing that the needle doesn't do is explode and home in on enemies, but at least the shots go around corners and boxes and-...

*sigh..* No offence, but I've gotten so many requests to change that one gun that it's starting to be annoying. I've said that paragraph about 4 times now, and this broken record dealie's getting old.. I'm simply not changing any gun whatsoever, least of all that one because the needler only lacks two features compared to the needlegun, and compared to all the other guns, that's extremely close to the real deal, and as close as it's going to get.

Yes, the needler arcs to home in on enemies. They can and do turn a little when going around obstacles to reach their target.

See? The needler arcs over hills, up ramps and homes in onto the target. They don't turn corners perfectly, but they do arc.

Just think of it in the sense that you're looking at the weapons with a different pair of eyes -- as a way to broaden your horizons about how you approach everything related to GG2. It's easily accepted that the needlegun is a poor weapon for most situations due to its mediocre damage.... but what if it isn't?

Yes, exactly!! That's probably why I play better as Scout with Halo mod more than any other version of GG2, because it doesn't feel like I'm controlling a thin little Bronx man that could be annihilated with two shots from a rocket, I feel like I'm an equal to my enemy.

The sniper rifle has 4, the pistol has 12, and the rocket launcher has 2, and yet they're on classes that have one, six, and four shot weapons, respectively. And, I'm 90% certain that the brute shot has 4-6 rounds, depending on the game you play. The needler and spiker behave very similarly, sans homing and exploding.

Listen, I'm not changing it. I'm really not, and there's nothing you could do to convince me to do so. The needler and spiker behave very differently. The spiker is more like an SMG that fires Needler rounds rather than the needler which shoots slow moving needles that arc around corners like the needlegun. I'm not changing it, please don't take it personally, I'm not changing it and I've explained why 4 times. I'm not mad at you, please don't take it personally, I'm just sick of repeating my reasoning over and over again. I'm trying to handle the, "please stop asking me to change this gun" thing as gracefully as possible, I swear I'm not mad at you or anyone else for asking, it's just aggrivating in general to get requests to change that gun so often when in my mind, it's the closest thing possible and I keep having to repeat myself.

If I seem like I'm begging, it's because you seemed to get a little upset when I said I was tired of getting requests for that one gun.. I'm merely trying my best to make sure nobody's feelings are hurt.
