I wonder if raemz will be drawing some of the art herself. Her art is friggin' fantastic but in some of the other promotional KS sort of artbook thingies that the team has put out, I didn't like most of the artists that much.

There are tons of dating simulators with those qualities. Actually, I've read from some people who say there's a few older dating simulators much better than this one but doesn't even have a tenth of the popularity.

Before you get an idea, I accidentally clicked on a thread about dating simulators on Something Awful.
But I forgot what I was trying to say. I understand that it may have gotten popular from image boards, but a dating simulator is a very small niche that doesn't usually appeal to very many people.

Oh yeah forgot one crucial part, it's the first VN most people have ever played
And I'm not saying this is the best thing ever, it's just that it's really, really good for what it does, I think there's other non-sexual VNs I've heard of which are pretty good too (although the genre itself is overall about sexual themes as far as I know, so I wouldn't be surprised that some of the guys of that thread were defending more sex oriented stuff)

Yeah, that guy trying to build off on the success of KS on the same boards is pretty sad I think that that game will probably fail, and it's too bad people can't enjoy KS and leave it at that. But from his perspective, it seems probable that he's just this guy who loves KS so much he wanted to make something like it, and in his mind, he's doing something really important - extending the legacy of games like these, and offering something for those people who've finished KS and want more. Of course, that's an insane expectation - but I think his intentions are good, at the very least. |
