BTW, Mew, if you want to use a few legacy GML file plugins, I could make lorgan's plugin loader code into a plugin. Would that suit you?

Because earlier there was only OHU or Smoke. (Tempestbots aside.)

I implore you to add automatic Plugins folder plugin gml file loading for the future.

To clarify further:

This won't happen, simply because I'm opposed to it. You might wonder, why?
Well, I don't like the old plugin system. Each plugin is not isolated from eachother, there is no metadata associated with each plugin, and there is nothing to prevent version incompatibilities.
Furthermore, I see no point in supporting old plugins. People should develop their plugins to be SMOKE/GEM-compatible.
I also like the idea of SMOKE's plugins system because it provides one source for downloading and updating plugins - allowing plugin authors to track how many people download a plugin. Additionally, it makes deploying updates easier.

Can't mod so requesting instead. How about the arrows plugin, where you m3 and it points to the selected direction?

Why doesn't chat work during spectate?
It uses name changing and bubble spam to work, and bubbles don't work as spectator.

(I wondered about this myself, then figured out why)

It also makes plugins completely dependent on Smoke.

But yeah. Ok.

Someone should modify it so that chat messages just have the names prefixed with a certain byte.

GEM 24102 (GG2 2.4.1 GEM 02)

  • Some stuff I forgot
  • Better auto-updates (which won't apply until next update z5)
  • New SMOKE Plugins list which is built-in (similar to lobby), not a huge proprietary IE4 hack that ruins your clipboard (this consequently removes in-game plugin downloads for the meantime until I fix that)
  • NORMAL FONT

Disabling runner/scout in bot options doesn't disable the class.
