Okay, I think the conditions for scrim have been decided: 4v4 10 minute time limit 6-8 second respawn (I'm uncertain on this) 3 matches: ctf_2dfort, ctf_conflict, cp_garti Sunday March 13th, 7pm Finnish time, which I think translates to 9am PST or noon EST (or 3am for me  ); please check this to make sure Sign up if you can be there!Classes particularly wanted:      I can play one of these. Don't fret if they aren't your mains, all participants are welcome, especially if they've been inactive for a long time hint hint nudge nudge. A server host is also needed, so suggestions are welcome here too; I was thinking of seeing if Lorgan3 would be able to host. I can host Llyod. Edit: Llyod it's a 4v4 and you listed 5 classes. Wat u dong??? |

I really wish I had time.. but I dun'.. sorry guys! Zillah will probably be absent on Sunday..
But if she isn't..
I can play a pretty intimidating scout, a FUNCTIONAL medic (as in I can heal and keep myself out of harms way, and that's about it), and I can play a fairly good sollie. Considering that this is the PHS, I should probably not be the sollie.. there's GOTTA be someone here that's better at it than me! Scout or medic will be my class, or spy if the situation REALLY calls for it (need someone taken out RIGHT NOW and don't have the time to chip them down by conventional means, need a backcap but scout keeps getting killed, etc). I can promise that I won't be spy very often though (if not AT ALL..)!

Sorry, I'll be swamped with homework/make-up work that day (not to mention that waking up 9 AM on Sunday is a bit... yeah). Good luck to both teams, though.
If somehow I don't have too much work to do or actually manage to wake up before 9 AM, I guess I can play firebug, healer, constructor, or overweight.

If only we had something going on right about now like last year's feb tourney.
True... that spring tournament in the Tourney section seems more for casual play rather than clan and group tactics.. just a way to spend time with friends, not an actual test of skill. That, and it's not nearly as grand and exciting as the one that Snare started. It doesn't even have big fancy charts or banners! PHS isn't dead though! There's just nothing really... worth asserting our skill towards other than the occasional clan match. Right now, we're just doing stuff to keep our clan alive. It's on life support by half-heartedly picking at lower clans. We need something big, something grand, something WORTH the PHS's full efforts! Something worthy of song and story, told and retold in many posts to come! Something that will inspire the newbies to play harder when they think of skilled GG2 warriors, daydreaming of glorious battle! Something will make them wish they were on par with the mighty Professionals! Something like a REAL tournament, like the Febuary 4v4 tourney of last year! A real test of skill, valor and honor! Maybe an All Clans on Deck Tournament? As many clans as are fit to fight! |
