I really like this idea as well. I'll see if I can whip something up.

Edit:
Well, I got both the medibeam curve and collision fix done, but I can't think of a way to calculate the point on a curve where it doesn't collide with anything(other than trying them all). I suppose the collision fix renders this useless though anyway.

It works better from the origin of the player. I tried it once and it eliminates all possibility for the medic to gunspin while healing.

Blu, I'll rephrase what I said.

"The detection works better when it is done from the center of the player. I tried putting it at the end of the gun, and it made it hard to gunspin while healing people."
