I got the MySims 3. It's pretty fun, and it's the most sand-boxxy of a sand-box games that isn't a custom mod tool.

Yeah, fuck it, i'm not doing the whole thing.

Not that I don't like sandbox games, they're great. It's just that I think the community could do a tons better than anything I could dish out.

So I got an idea. I'll have you geeks tell me what do in the game, and I'll post screenshots of the shenanigans. So let's do that. YOU tell me what do in the MySims 3, and I'll do my best to try to accomplish it. Try not to be more specific than "Do this here" or "Do that to this person", things like that. You can be more specific if you want, though. But I'll probably be less likely to listen to it.

It's a win/kinda-win situation. I get some linearity and you get to vicariously play a game you'll never buy and maybe I'll make the game look pretty fun in the process. I'll keep a list of all the updates in chronological order on this very post. So this is how it'll go, I ask what you want me to do. You tell me what to do. I do it. Don't be dumb and say "grow wings and fly", even ironically. I'll give you some possible options but don't be afraid to think outside of the box. I'll read through your suggestions and try using as many ideas as I can. Just makes sure whatever you ask isn't a long-term goal, like mastering all the skills. maxing out Essences in a room.

If you're MySims 3-savvy, or are willing do some research, I have World Adventures, Ambitions, and Night Life expansion packs, which are all the expansion packs before the newer expansion packs got really lame. The Original MySims, not that stupid kingdom or those dumb kart racing and secret agent games.

Anyways, let's begin and jump right into the game! Well, almost.

Part 0: Stranger in a Strange Place
Part 1-1: Tutorintroduction
Part 1-2: Friendship is Boring

Okay, step one. I'm not going to be able to post pictures today, as it's going to take some doing to take these images off my TV without any fancy-ass capturing technology. I did try remaking Dennis...

ANYWAY, We've got a town to name. I'll launch that into the fray and watch everyone spring on the topic like hungry Bengal tigers in a, damn this is a bad simile.

Stranger in a Strange Place

Hi there! I'm Mayor Rosalyn P. Marshall. I'd like to tell you the story of my town, if you'd spare a minute.

It's a pretty unique town, to tell you the truth...

This is how Magrathea used to be: full of life, personality, and happy Sims.

Everything in the town was so unique and suited the many different interests of the Sims who lived here.

This was all thanks to a special resident who had the power to use Essences to build all sorts of great things.

But one day the famous builder of Magrathea mysteriously left. Nobody knows where he went, but the town began to change.

Sims started to move away...

But from what I hear, there's somebody else who has the ability to build with Essences!

Apparently, they're coming here to Magrathea to help us out! I can't wait.

I hear they might even be coming in on the next train! I wonder what they look like...

Okay, things get very choppy here. Instead of what The Sims 3 has (Sliders and selectors for body type), MySims makes all the miis Sims have the same body type, and just make you select what he wears. Now, I'm not going to go through and take images of every single hairstyle and outfit.

Luckily, EA already has.

Some of those outfits are unlockable, and others are in other games, so just make your Sim and we'll work on it from there.

By the way:
I didn't know MySims 3 had expansions [/sarcasm] or that there WAS a mysims 3
