you can't play smash with fightsticks because you need an analog stick to differentiate between tilt and smash attacks.
unless you're doing some fucked up wii remote digital input bullshit

f. champ came back from losers at season's beatings and won in grand finals against justin wong.
and that's even when justin wong snapped in and killed phoenix like every game. he won based on his dormammu and magneto play.
so yeah, despite all the haters he has, he's going to own at umvc3. plus he probably has the best regular phoenix (jean grey) in the scene.
