Deagon, Mileena etc. are dual weilded too but it doens't effect to damages. Even long combos, like Mavado's, making 7 HITS %9 damage. However, I still don't know 'how to take parry'. When AI's do, I get mad.
I did not say that dual wielding increases anything. It's funny as fuck that there's a dual wielding guy without skin with meat cleavers. To me, anyway.

Also, it's not sick in any way to have a joke character who happens to be the guy from the motion capturing department (Mokap, yeah, if you haven't gotten the joke). Nobody didn't get the joke. Don't explain it.

I didn't even claim to be pro. We're both novices at the game. Anyone who's willing to put the effort can pick up KOF and become good at it- fast- and even if you're putting up loss streaks of 10 or more games it doesn't really get tiring because of the sheer variety of the game and the vast comeback potential/intense bouts.

Don't be so tense, just saying that a novice pub crowd vs you guys would be pretty one sided regardless

I still remember when Intel said something about "graceful spam" the first time me, him and Tank played Aplha 3, should've quoted it because I remember it being genius. We should start some fight night-esque thing, yeah.

pretend to be pro? what the fuck is that shit?
I don't own any KOF games, and yesterday was the first time I played KOF 2002. I play SSF2T at an average casual level. The only reason I'm relatively decent at it is because I know fundamentals and some strategies. I don't have expert level execution, mindgames or matchup experience.

I remember this too. It still sort of applies. I can do qcf motions now too :p The only reason I'm relatively decent at it is because I know fundamentals and some strategies.
Which is what a lot of people may lack aside from a few other guys who're into the genre Seriously guys, sorry, didn't mean to get you guys so unnerved I'm not unnerved, I pointed out something about KOF. Fundamentals are extremely easy to grasp anyway, and it's not like we'd be holding any actual tournaments- history has taught me that putting too many people from too many different regions in one mame room will just crash it, so unless we did it regionally only or organized 1v1s on supercade with recording afterwards (or some sort of streaming) it'd just be a bunch of casuals between people who don't desynch every 5 seconds.

Having a lack of knowledge doesn't give you the privilege of labeling people who have some knowledge. Whatever, it's not like I don't go out of my way to help people out. Intel, we could set up a 4 (or however many can show up) man round robin or something, so every participant can play someone else instead of waiting around. It doesn't even have to be a rigid tournament format; we could just rotate playing with different peeps in different games, and just chat in steam.

Again, chillax reb, didn't sound so offensive when I thought of it I'm not unnerved, I pointed out something about KOF. Netplay's a bitch, despite how fun it could potentially be Hope ya guys will eventually get something resembling a world tournament up regardless, sounds really awesome

I want to try something out and see if we can maybe get a recorded casual or two in on mame with a couple of peeps so I can gauge the lag situation. It would also help if people could port forward.
