he doesn't have any marvel cred because he doesn't play it. he picked up ultimate like 2 weeks before fighting jago. everyone in the building knew he was going to get 5-0'd. he was fighting someone who made top 8 in evo and various other EC majors.

Well, you reap what you sow imo. Gootecks and Ross were talking shit about him up and down the court. (I personally thought it was cool to see Knives play Jago. Guy did a pretty admirable job.)
Ross should stick to SSFIV, but the point is he talks trash a lot, or lets Gootecks do it for him, and never backs it up.

But that's the thing about Mike, he can't play will if he doesn't pump him self up. If he's constantly saying good things about himself about making jokes he's playing well. When something negative happens he gets exposed. Mike Ross is not a fraud, He's just inconsistent.

I've never really been into it, to be honest, but I've always come close to. I used to play the shit out of Tekken 3 when I was a brat but since I did that with a frat boy friend of mine I never really got serious about it. I've played Sonic Battle and all the smash brothers extensively but they're much different from actual fighting games so they hardly count. Other than that, I used to really like the idea behind mugen but never got to play it much. The main deal is that barely anyone I know played or was even remotely interested in fighting games, so I hardly ever tried any or even got told about them. |

Hm, okay.
Also MUGEN is an engine, as in the whole mixing different chars isn't actually a game, its just people being lazy. You can develop actual games on MUGEN.
