actual sanwa joystick and buttons on TE sticks. they are much higher quality. If you feel like it, or want to learn how, you can always get a fightstick and mod it with sanwa parts yourself. doesn't require any soldering or anything like that, just opening it up and replacing parts.
also the TE sticks are bigger and heavier, which is closer to the actual arcade cabinet feel.
is the te stick worth it compared to the regular one? it's pretty expensive, but i'll bite if it's worth the extra 80$ and i don't know anything about modding a fightstick, is it easy? |

I did a quick search on google and found this video tutorial on modding SE sticks:
I think the TE stick is worth the extra 80 bucks, but only if you're big into fighting games. It's not really worth it if you just play them occasionally. However, both sticks would have very good mileage, and you could definitely think about getting a ps3/360 converter so you can use it for emulation on PC.

cool. and i did some searching and apparently the mad catz te fightstick works on the pc (apparently it doesn't work if you have an amd motherboard though) without having to use a ps3/360 converter, which is pretty cool too

st. lk kara karakusa with makoto is pretty godlike and a hell of a lot easier than the f st. lk one. you can kara cancel straight out of blockstun.
