You guys know what we should do that we haven't in a while? Mob. For those of you who aren't familiar, you wear mobster-like items on your Heavy and walk around with a group of other people doing so in a random server. Who's up for it?

I kinda agree with Sarge's opinion on the Soda Popper So despite its shittiness and crotchiness, the Soda Popper makes a good close-range alternative to the scattergun that doesn't hinder your movement likes the FaN does.
But it is usually more trouble to deal with than it is actually worth Also, the Shortstop was actually usable before the reload nerf; I recall running around harvest with it and some Crit-a-cola and killing everybody I like the FaN for its movement stuff, but when it comes to actual fighting, it tends to get annoying as if you jump and shoot you get knocked back. However the FaN tended to be dickish where the Soda Popper isn't so much: knocking back enemies a la airblast and finishing them off with 1 or 2 shots. Now the Soda Popper gives other people a fighting chance, but then there are the mini-crits, which can rape if well used. That said, as much as I can definitively see the hate from the scout's primary alts, all of them are like the scattergun in a way: high-burst damaging weapons, much like the scattergun, that tend to be annoying, much like the scattergun. Well then again maybe not the Shortstop with its reload nerf, but it's not something a good crit-a-cola can't arrange... |

Muse, Crab, Chu and I did it for a while yesterday in some server with a bunch of Quebecois people, we eventually just all went scout and started ganging up on people and beating them with bats.
I guess we could to it again today. Although yesterday, we forgot to put a mobster theme on mic, so if someone could handle that that'd be great. Ignis, Inglip, Shadow and Trueblade, did I miss anyone?

Also, if anyone's interested, I'm raffling a Stout Shako that I got from a #44 crate. I would've been happy with pretty much anything else in that crate, pretty disappointing. Double posting so people will see. |
