I guess that's part of the skill. Remember that you can prevent the meter from building up by running around with your secondary or melee.
Personally I don't really like it either way. 1 hit kills in 125 HP classes are never fun to play against.

in this case it makes it even less sense that you should stop using your primary just cause the minicrits start up immediately

1. Run around with Soda Popper until gauge is almost full 2. Switch to secondary/tertiary 3. See enemy 4. Switch to Soda Popper 5. Minicrits! 6. Blow off the two SP shots 7. Switch to pistol 8. More minicrits! It all sounds good on paper, but the thing is, there's just so few situations that the normal Scattergun couldn't handle better.

20%
oh fuck you So anyway I've discovered the worst thing in the world. Not W+M1 Pyros, not Medics that refuse to heal; it's when your mouse sensitivity is somehow off even though you didn't change that or the mouse speed or DPI, and you spend an hour trying to get it just right to how it usually is and no matter what you do it works like shit and you miss so many easy shots you throw an empty bottle of cream soda at the wall and it knocks into your bed's headboard and sends your doodle pads flying and now you're sitting in your chair in a tangled mess of dirty clothes, headphone cables, unfinished scribbled sketches, and perspiration and there's a fucking mosquito flying around that just won't leave you alone.

Yes I know that tactic is the only possible one to save minicrits, but what about those situations where two meatshots would be required to off a lone enemy, then the whole map becomes devoid of enemies? Surely you can't pistol him out, because he'd have too much health in the aftermath. It's just a gimmicky weapon. Also, buy one of these

Today I managed to sell my Strange Sydney Sleeper off for a Strange Crusader's Crossbow. I needed Medic stranges that I could actually use.
Also nobody (including me) likes the Private Eye so I rebuilt it with another hat and got a Detective Noir. Not bad if I do say so myself, and it fits well with my License to Maim. Usually my rebuilding luck is bad, and I told myself I wouldn't do it anymore, but it actually turned out pretty well in the end.

There's more then one person on steam with that name, and iirc OUR Rebel doesn't even use Rebel as his steam handle.

Medieval mode: Scout's Sun-on-a-Stick and a Pyro's Sharpened Volcano Fragment...A decently unstoppable team.

I honestly can't remember the last time I played it.

I honestly can't remember the last time I played it. For me it was... when it first came out I think. Which was what, a year ago? Almost that long I think. Came out around Christmas, didn't it? The game has its balancing issues, all games will, but TF2's aren't too significant for the most part. Except in Medieval mode. Go Demoman with Targe/Screen or Sniper with Huntsman and you pretty much own everybody.
