Looks cool. I always loved sprites.
Edit: Actually, I'm digging this game more then minecraft. I love the mechanics, the items, and all that stuff. I also love the 2D format as well as the enemies and even bosses.

It's like Minecraft and Runescape had a baby.
And it somehow came out black I.E. a 2D game from 3D games.
Minecraft got the whole randomly generated explorable world with mobs spawning down, Runescape/WoW/ whatever game has a shit ton of items that you're automatically jelly of when you see them. And then throw in 2D platforming for simplicity/make it prettier than a 3D game would ever be in the Indie department.
