They would play the game and quit someday because they don't have any idea of what's going on with custom maps and stuff...
Forum keeps me in gg2, actually. if the forums didn't exist, I wouldn't be here right now playing gg2.
anyone else think that way?

rolf wow i think its mainly cus you can't chat in game,... many people quit. its probably like 1/2 reasons i dont know if you have ever used chat in gg2 but it actually ruined the gaming experience for me, chatting slowed down gameplay and most of the time it was used to say hi and discuss random things. chatting got me killed more often than stabbing. i cant remember who said it, but before 2.3 someone said that we would do fine without chat, that it had spoiled us. i gotto say i agree with him, the game is even more fun now imo. i think it was good for competitive use though. I don't even knew you could chat!  But I also think that wouldn't work out for a 2D game which already has speech bubbles.. |

Vinmod yeah, but maybe there is a better way to implent it.. Default messages when you press like F1-F8 Of course this will be seen for your team only. F1 : Incoming! F2 : Enemy heading to cp/intel! F3 : Attack! F4 : Defend! F5 : Activate the superburst! F6 : Enemy activates their superburst! F7 : Good job guys! F8 : Place a sentry here. Just a example. on-topic: I think I should keep the text version instead of the banner version  |

f1-f8 ideas are good
but what if you press something like f9-f12
and f10 is the worst.
plus buttons up to f5 are best. f6-f8 too far. you'd have to stretch our your left hand from the WASD which can kill you if you're in a dangerous situation, or you can choose to press it with your right hand-but that means you can't shoot or aim at that moment.
