I'm sure it has to do with the primary shotgun dynamic: pellet to spread ratio. Also, for base destruction assuming no-gun-mining mods aren't a factor, the shotgun and SMG are better than the rifle. Yet the rifle is amazingly fun for player combat. Hmm. |

0.61 is out. It looks pretty, but thus far is a PAIN to set up. Loading maps is slow as fuck now, The new team select screen is balls, and you can see enemies on the radar now???
Also apparently the server can decide the colors that are playing. I just played a match of Purple vs Orange.

map loading seems to be the same for me :v
What got some getting used to was the new "theme" if you will, where all the letters look xhardcorex and whatnot
What I don't really like is the shovel replacing the pick :y

Just right click with the shovel spade to do its old action. That was changed in 0.60 Also I need to change my 1) Splash Screen 2) In Game Font Any ideas? |

I know how to use the shovel, I was just so used to switching to "1" for mining and "2" for excavating, if you will

I played it quite lot recently, the new mode is cool. Because you finally have locations which your can defend properly, instead of an intel which always appears anywhere on the map.
Name changing: Look for a config file, where you installed it.

Nope, not no more. Now you just join in and it gives you a prompt for your name. Actually, is ammo very limited? And what about spawn times, what's the average?
Personally, if you're used to TF2 you'll be used to ammo and what not. |

the rifle (the bess) has 10 bullets per clip, and five clips total (50 bullets) seeing how you can kill a person per bullet, your often more worried about your health than running out of ammo. |
