We got Zombies with decent pathfinding, Skeletons who try to avoid sunlight. Skeletons are crafty enough hiding behind trees to begin with, I don't want to deal with Skeletons hiding in trees.

Blu does, but it requires mods, Hamachi, and your client to actually work, which I have none of except for mods, which even ModLoader fails.

I may switch to the latest snapshot next time I play, iunno. But spawn eggs are now my new favorite item. You can use the damage value in the /give command to make tnt spawning eggs, and enderdragon spawning eggs.

Hehehe. tnt spawn eggs are amusing, but be in creative mode/have good armor before you try to use one. (it spawns a lit tnt block with NO timer, so it instantly explodes)

Yeah, but you can't use it to spawn drops, xp, or fireballs/arrows, and trying to spawn a falling block will crash the server. But you can use it to spawn minecarts, boats, snow golems, the crystals from the end, the enderdragon,and giants. I also know that eyes of ender work from the spawn eggs too, but i'm not sure about the pearls (which would be useless anyways since it would just teleport you to the block you clicked)

Minecart spawn eggs will be pretty useful tbh  automated minecart dispensers without the need for colossal minecart stacks also, am I the only one who is getting terrible download speeds of new updates? EDIT:  Yeah, but you can't use it to spawn fireballs

I wish hostile mobs spawned with the spawn eggs would be saved like animals.
Because I was building a secret underground base (once again) and decided to create a lab with several mobs in cages.
Suddently, all hostiles (Creeper, Enderman, Zombie, Ghast, etc.) were gone.
