Get your tier 2 (two stars) stuff ASAP. If I remember correctly I got a calibur from some really generous guy in a random party who I lent some materials to, nice general T2 sword.
You need a helmet, sword, shield, and one more thing I can't remember along with 15 tier two tokens. Don't worry about the tokens, by the time you have everything you'll have them.

Though when I played through, I made the dumb mistake of not joining a party and going down all by myself. Also: wouldn't it make more sense for your Knight to upgrade gear with energy and stop doing clockwork-raid-dive-whatchamagiers when it overheats? |

Well all gear can only reach a max of Level 10, so not really, no. Anyway, recharging, finally getting my new shield tomorrow. |

I just started the game yesterday. Would somebody be kind enough as to explain everything I need to know to get into the game to me? I know you go on those elevator things to do missions and I know about minerals, but that's pretty much it.
