New Noder version:

You can now mirror all nodes on the left-hand side to the right by selecting the "Mirror" option in the in-game menu. No node may exist on the right-hand side!

So I finally looked at this thread again. Good to see it's still kicking!

And holy crap, if the bots in the video act like on all of the maps then I'd prefer them over the pubbies any day. yaymoney

They don't. ctf_minifort has a node map, and I've just done cp_egypt too.

If you would like to help noding, I'd be really glad. It's actually rather easy.

Great! You know you can also simply attach them to your post?

EDIT: Looked at the node-map, it's really good. You just tend to make a few too many nodes. Bots can jump over crates or ladders without nodes too, you know.

Now featuring a menu like before, where you can edit the classes and number, and even mode (though dynamic isn't really working yet).

EDIT: Also added a "Learning" mode. Within this mode, the bots will check that the distances between nodes are true, which they often aren't. It does cause considerable lag on map-changing though, which is why I made it an option.

Now officially introducing the Tempest Bot v5.1, complete with a node networking system and two node maps (three if someone can upload the ctf_minifort again).

Those who've been following this thread, know what's changed, for the others:

ChangeLog
-Rewrote the whole bot
-Removed the medic bot
-Added an intelligent cp and ctf behavior
-Added the possibility of pre-noding maps (see OP for details)
-Added behaviors, like hunting, completing objectives and simply roaming about
-Fine-tuned the aiming code and fixed a small bug, also removed the sniper aim nerf
-Added a learning mode suited to correct mistakes done during noding.
-Removed (or forgot to add) the bubbles, might add later
