What's the top number of kills you guys have gotten. Since I'm usually a firebug, I weaken people and my teammates steal my kills. Because of that, my top number is 36. Now a days, I usually get somewhere around 22.

Dr. Starky said he isn't playing. Plus there's a chance that this guy would be more reliable (and better) than some of those who are currently signed up. At least I've seen him before anyway. |

you are the first new player ive ever seen to prefer not to play spy, i raise a hat to you. From experience and from watching other newbies, most new players tend to dislike spies because of the low starting health and a lack of proper technique (backstabbing someone while they're spamming and/or moving tends to be hard to most people). |

I'd have to disagree with you. When I first started playing I liked 3 classes immediately.   and  . Why? and for obvious reasons. They're relatively simple to play effectively. Basically no matter what you do you're probably going to help the team. As for they offer 1 major advantage: Unlimited invisibility. Assuming you're new, your aim and dodging ability probably isn't very good. Playing spy saves you from having to learn. Also, since you're invisible and likely playing against others of a similar level most opponents will have no clue you're there. That being said, it's easy (and honestly very effective) to jello all day long especially in a server like Tavis where the teams are huge and the average skill level is lower. Since it's completely possible to be at the top of the scoreboard without ever firing a shot or pulling off a stab I'd say it causes new people to gravitate to the class. Plus you have to admit the name sounds cool. Better than most of the others anyway. |
