It would be something interesting, because when we eat a Manvich can not see around us, being easy prey for infiltrators when taunt, could be the same! bloodonmysuit

He means so you can't turn around and see infiltrators coming towards you due to passive invisibility, giving you the chance to jump and or shoot when you stop taunting.

I oppose this idea because then I cannot go medic and bow in two directions at once.

On a serious note, taunting in TF2 puts you in 3rd person, allowing you to see around corners and stuff. I don't see why this shouldn't be possible here.

It was actually a design decision to allow people to change direction because it can look hilarious.  Besides, you still can't attack when you're eating that manvich so depending on how you look at it, it can be better for the infiltrator.  He's charging at you and he knows you see him but can't do a thing about it.

Fun fact: Passive invisibility was previously based upon aimDirection, so it was possible to see an Infiltrator who is standing behind you while eating a sandwich. I do not recall if that was changed to image_xscale or not, I'm fairly certain that it's the latter.

the same applies for gunspinning while you're not taunting

there's actually no real reason to taunt unless you're on my server, so going to extra mile to make it more "balanced" is pretty stupid
