I can agree that Quake did not invent the FPS. That was Wolfenstein and/or DOOM. What Quake did, in combination with DOOM, is lead up to Serious Sam.

My dad and i couldnt figure out we had to use WASD, so i didnt play it for a LONG time. I got the hang of it eventually though.

too bad some of the weapons like the underwater gun never actually appeared anywhere and you couldn't carry them anyways
