RAIL SHOOTERS (Duck Hunt, Time Crisis, Ghost Squad...) DON'T COUNT. Mine was actually Duke Nukem 3D. Funny, I played and understood it at six. Adult mode was off, of course... Most of the time.  DooM II was a close second, since my Dad got them both at the same time and let us play them. I had seen him play HL before so I wasn't really scared at them. So what's YOUR first FPS? EDIT: After a quick thought, I'm wrong. Chex Quest was my first. Followed by DN3D and DooM II

oh yes, chex quest  I still have the CD(it is covered in soot so it can't run :< ) although, it is glitchy for me (mainly the spoon) |

you mean first played, or first actually beaten and stuff, cause until I was like ten I never touched anything outside of Mario for my GBA

Hell if I remember my own, but some of the earliest clear memories I have that aren't me on the NES/SNES are watching my dad and uncle have lan matches on Q3A and UT99.
Now I can handily kick both their asses. Feels good man.

Jesus then I have no idea,
I have fond memories of watching my brother play Half Life 1 and counterstrike, but not actually playing any
I mean I've like tried Halo at my friend's house, and it just made me dizzy

And seeing as I was 6, I never figured out how to get passed the lava to play hard mode.
