Can you have fun without any expansions?
I'm dead serious, I only got the standalone game and it's really boring. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, since I didn't build my own house (couldn't find a way to do it :V) and I'm not constantly strapped for cash because of it. Also, my view is way more... out, I guess, than the view you get in the Gengis pictures .

I've only got the base game with no expansions because piracy is bad, kids, and I guess it's okay? It's a Sims game, how much do you want? Also, the Tab key triggers free camera. |

What you're "supposed" to do is make a house with the bare necessities then add onto it when you get the money. World Adventures is really fun when you are happy with your house and have a lot of cash leftover. A lot of problems with the Sims games (and most other Maxis games) is that people think everything has to go right. It doesn't. Sometimes it's even more fun letting things go wrong. The Sims 3 doesn't punish you for screwing up; at least, not as much as the earlier games. As odd as this sounds, though, this game looks and is a lot more fun when you take pictures and make a story with it. Which is why pressing TAB brings up an advanced camera mode, and WASD moves you around, X and Y zoom in and out, and E and Q move you up and down while in that mode. |

 Played some UT2004 with /v/. Was fun as fuck, flying around Facing Worlds with the music blaring and more lasers than a Daft Punk concert. By, the way, that Ultra Kill means 6 kills consecutively in a short amount of time. We were playing Instagib 5v5. Awwwww yeah. |

That's always been my UT2k4 name due to my playermodel always reminding me of Mort from the old Bazooka Joe bubblegum comics.   Also, it seems people get more mad when they see "xX_METAL_GEAR_Xx was shredded by Mort's flak cannon" instead of, say, "[...] shredded by xXx_420_Cap-A-Cop_L33t_H34dSh0t_xXx [bYu]". |

And less likely to be interpreted as such in an arena FPS that's kept alive only by clans and servers with so many weird characters in their names I'd swear I joined an Arabic server if it wasn't for the ping. |

No. In Half Life: Source the crossbow nails people to objects. If you nail somebody to a ceiling and do a quick save when they stop moving then load the quick save, they'll still be hanging where you stuck them, but the bolt will be gone. Then if you pierce the hanging body with some more bolts, it won't move. But if you hit the body with a weapon that makes ragdolls move, the body will fling to whatever crossbow bolt pierced it last. Initially he was just hanging up there by his head. I used this glitch and hung him upsidedown. Also I deleted the last one, I got an even bigger group. I would have one more, but he got too friendly with some Headcrabs.  |
