Well recently I used canyourunit.com to check out if I can run some games on my computer.

And It said I can run it perfectly.

No.

It doesn't run perfectly.

I lag like shit, and it hurts to find out that the internet is not a very reliable source anymore.

Heres my shitty computers specs tell me if I can run these games.

Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

System Manufacturer: HP-Pavilion
          Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) II X4 630 Processor (4 CPUs), ~2.8GHz
             Memory: 6144MB RAM
Available OS Memory: 5888MB RAM
  Card name: NVIDIA GeForce 9100
       Manufacturer: NVIDIA
          Chip type: GeForce 9100
           DAC type: Integrated RAMDAC

Blah Blah Blah.

Now can I run Battlefield:Bad Company 2 on this machine?

Because "Can you run it" is shit.

And I'm sure you gamers know alot more then me about this jazz.

Just because you can run it doesn't mean you can run it well.

Did you even look at the Recommended specs tab? Meeting the requirements dead on (usually with the RAM requirements) will just leave you with a big old paperweight of a program. You need to have leftover RAM to run other crap as well.

Also your welcome for linking you to that site. Sorry you can't do much more research before you buy a game.

This shitty "can you run it" program said I can run it perfectly.

Then i was like

HOLY SHIT NICE

Then all shit breaks out with lag.

This was recommended bar for ram.

I don't think it considers your background objects and programs.

relying on a third party browser plugin isn't the most reliable way of ensuring a good playing experience

you may have alot of shit running in the background

Take into consideration that the site judges the oldest version of the game, so asking it something like... TF2...would be stupid.

L4D2 is a real computer stressor, and not even on the graphics-card wise. Your computer has to render, spawn, and send and receive information on about 20-ish Common Infected at a time, AND the Special Infected, AND the survivors, as well as the shaders, shadows, game world, and the like.

Also for some reason L4D2 doesn't have dynamic shadows anymore. Weird.

I don't know. I didn't actually read your computer's specs.

I just thought it'd be nice to know.
