if you're using adobe photoshop, you realize that you can 'save for web and devices' (ctrl+shift+alt+s), and it can save .png files with transparencies.

Hmm...A thought. Would sappers + a weakish dead ringer + 28 damage + slight reload time decrease + a slight stab speed buff do it, you think?

don't exist on normal servers so they shouldn't be used as a reasoning for anything.

Personally I don't like the DR idea. It all just seems so overly complex.

Yeah I don't think a dr is necessary.
I got nothing against it balance-wise but are goal is to be TF2 simplified and seeing a bunch of fake bodes every where will probably get on my nerves.

Off-topic- The S-key is magic! We could use this for manvich droping or superburst deploying.

no to stab speed buff. Either it's unnoticeable and therefore unnecessary, or it makes everyone relearn the stab timings entirely. But yeah a dead ringer would do wonders for getting out after a stab, and the Sapper means the spy can actually deal with engies if he can sap while cloaked.

I think the main reason why the spy is such a popular choice for newbies is that you can't been seen when cloaked.

And you can stay cloaked.

Forever. z8 Without helping out combat or anything.

Here's a radical proposition: why not have a cloak meter for ordinary cloaking? Was there a problem with having one before?
