Also how does q/c in gg2 not look really stupid? Drolling

I'd rather have the left two rather than the right two.
I'll admit the right two look pretty retarded, but the left two would take up way too much space. Incorporating it into the class sprite would take up a lot less space. Maybe have the class symbol on his suit?

Disguise as your own team is pointless, cus the enemys are gonna shoot at you anyway..  hehe
in tf, you can keep your opponent less paranoid by advancing as team mate, then disguising as one of them.
its much more suddle tecnicque than running from your spawn at the start of the match disguised as enemy.

srsly, wouldnt you find it suspicious if your team mate would fall back before anyone of your team have even encountered the enemy.

My point was that only being able to disguise as a teammate is pointless, you should be able to disguise to enemy too.. And cloak is for to get behind enemy lines.. so..

icon plus healthbar, then occasionally his name. I dunno, it sounds really cluttered to me.

because it's annoying and plain silly to have it

for example, why do you not display the full name until you put your mouse over the player? Because it makes it look cluttered imo


in that case having both the icon, AND the player name when you mouse over the player makes it look even worse.

In reality, you'd want to make it more identifiable at first glance, as the player icons are rather bland and look too similar to eachother

and lo and behold bitmixing

How about having the spy hold the weapon of the class he's disguised as? It would probably take some editing of the weapon sprites to make it not look really stupid, but it's better than nothing.

I still don't understand why everyone wants disguises and a DR, the DR would be overly complex and it would necessitate nerfing normal cloak, which would be an impediment since, as we've pointed out time and again, there's no corners to wait around and recharge your cloak. There's no reason to make things overly complex in an effort to buff a class that's so close to being balanced.

Part of the reason we want diguises is so that there can be more mind games. Instead of a heavy and medic, it's a spy and combat medic. Instead of 3 - 4 rocketmen, there's some spies in that group too.
