You guys seem to forget that the spy's sapper is a distraction. While the engineer fixes it, the spy attacks. So the engineer had to decide where to focus. Just like tf2.

Actually, spies usually just continue sapping instead of attacking because engies are too dumb to attack the spy first.

Or the Spy starts attacking a full-health engie instead while a lvl 3 sentry is almost sapper-free.

Or make Shotgun bullets remove it.

Anyway, just something, if the loadout idea is implemented along with the Sapper, maybe we could pull of a Sapper replacement to give a try to the Sentry disabler idea (I think it has potential).

I don't know where the idea of loadout implementation came from, because it isn't really relevant. The sapper is not supposed to replace anything. It is an addition to his current arsenal.

Personal thoughts:
Lets see what the spy has.

Revolver
Sapper
Knife
Disguise kit

Ambassador
Cloak and Dagger
Dead ringer

Heart stopper and some other things I don't care about because I stopped playing TF2 when these came out because of my lack of computer memory.





What's in game: Revolver and Inifinite cloak


An improvement to spy isn't sapper. That only assists him killing, and assisting others, with one simple class.
I mean sure, it is an improvement, but it's so miniscule that it's nothing much. I mean engineers are spy-checking as much as possible as is, and unlike TF2 these sentries can't hold back 5 people on its own.
(by "on its own" I mean without abusing its sight mechanics.)

A TF2 sentry gun is powerful enough to take you out in a matter of a second whilst a GG2 autogun can be soloed while you take damage to the face.

Therefore, unlike in TF2 where a sentry can obliterate, GG2’s autogun stoppers wouldn’t be extremely useful.
(I am not saying a sapper is useless. I’m just saying the sapper in TF2 is much better then if GG2 had one simply because of what it’s stopping.)


Now. I would say the best weapon of choise to improve the spy would either be a dead ringing thing or a heartstopper thing. If disguises were implamented I would say that it would be cool that you could only disguise as your own team.

BUT QUOTE WHAT USE IS DISGUISING AS YOUR OWN COLOR
Because, when you die, it would be more believable. If a spy dies you’ll still panic, but If you run up to an approaching , oh I don’t know, detonator and you slam his face with a  rocket and you gib him you’ll be like “F year.”

Truth be told you just gibbed a dead ringing spy, and you had no clue.
