The sapper should also have infinite range and work on multiple autoguns
I mean good lord, do lone Constructors need to be even more crippled by adding in an undetectable medium-range autogun disabler?

Insani suggested that you press the taunt key to throw a sapper. Other people are saying that the sapper should be invisible. Lloyd put those two together.

The sapper works like the tf2 one; close range, disables sentry, slowly damages it, can bee seen by the engie. It's not throwable, but people who didn't bother reading the topic keep bringing that up even though it's been shot down and they end up confusing other people.

What I'm saying is make the sapper an alternative to the knife, but make it so you have a choice of which one to use.

Of course. Sapper is mapped to a different key.

So does that mean there will be implementation of loadout?
Seems kind of weird to give spy this special treatment
It's a domino

Because GG2 is 2D, not 3D, spy's a pretty situational class. That's why some special treatment is needed.

Or just add the sapper to the taunt key while you're cloaked.

What??
What is this saboteur thing. Sounds dumb, just stick with the sapper
Also the Sapper disable sentries so your saboteur thing is a sapper
The difference is that with the saboteur, the engie doesn't know his sentry is disabled. Then when your team arrives he'll and have to rebuild. that's dumb you should be ashamed It's not my idea, I was just saying what it was since you seemed to have missed that.

I will only weigh in to say that the sapper isn't necessary but does play well with invisibility compared to the current "backstab" technique. Lord knows the Infiltrator would like to at least feel like escape is within his grasp. However, the penalty for retreat is your attempt to destroy will most likely be thwarted.
Assuming nobody is dumb enough to forget to add the Wrench.

Or make Shotgun bullets remove it.
Anyway, just something, if the loadout idea is implemented along with the Sapper, maybe we could pull of a Sapper replacement to give a try to the Sentry disabler idea (I think it has potential).

I suggested that a while back, it's not too hard to add an argument to the Engineer's bullets to make it so they're the only ones that can destroy a sapper. It's just as easy as assigning the direction and speed of the bullets when you fire.
