hello.jpg I'd just like to notify any of you who have downloaded the recently Onslaught preview, and plan to play online with it must redownload it. I accidentally deleted a constant that was required in order to play with other people. This is fixed now. Also Stampy, I don't really see how vehicles are "underpowered".

here is the average attack and accuracy for vehicals (excluding anti air and transportation copter) column1 is average damage (not including accuracy) column2 is average accuracy column3 is average damage accuracy included
for humans: 3.75 | 1 | 0.94 the accuracy (25%) multiplied by the damage (3.75) = 0.94 (rounded) therefore the average damage is 0.94 for vehicals: 2.75 | 2.25 | 1.26 2.75*0.56= 1.26 average damage is 1.26 average metal cost: 462.5 average money cost:3.625 remember it takes 2 turns to build one vehical and you need to build the garage
now lets look at a soldier for humans: 3 | 2 | 1.5 3*0.50=1.5 for vehicals 2 | 3 | 1.5 2*0.75=1.5 metal cost 100 money cost 2.75 only takes one turn to build and living quarters give more supply then gas stations
i believe the soldier is way better then the average vehical (even the scout is better)
if i did some thing wrong through out making the data wrong then i apologize for wasting your time
can i have a match?

While I appreciate your detailed approach Doc Stampede, what the fuck are you on about.
Also Colton, those giant phase titles are really fucking annoying. I would really like a less intrusive, less screen-covering notification. Additionally, the way the robot AI works is NOT like a bot player as I expected, as it acts all at once. Nevertheless the melee units ARE quite easy to fool, as they ignore any unit and proceed to the gen, which leads to sneaking out units and setting up deep defenses, well, it would but that's a terrible strategy. Also, your space is terribly limited and those stupid ore deposits don't go away soon enough. I really wish there was more room to work with. Nevertheless I ended up spamming Snipers because my Workers and those damn ore mines prevented me from using Arsonists.
Are Medics and Mechanics effective on a 1:1 basis? As in, does one Medic heal 1 health to every unit in its heal zone, while an army of 50 Medics would heal all units in their zone fully?

mk ill make a simpler version just saying the average damage of vehicals and soldier (accuracy included) note the vehical averages are the average damage for all the vehicals (excluding transportation copter and a.a. tank
vehicals do average o.94 damage to humans vehicals do average 1.26 damage to other vehicals average metal cost:463 average money cost:3.63
soldier does average 1.5 damage to humans soldier does average 1.5 to vehicals metal cost:100 money cost:2.75
its also note worthy that vehicals take 2 turns to build and that you need to build the garage
that should be a lot simpler, want to have match?

Anyway, responses!
@Dr Stampy's first message: tl;dr @Acid's first message: Yeah I'll make an option to turn those off. After my shower, that is. Also, the AI wasn't intended to work like an "expected bot player". I wanted to make the Onslaught AI more difficult to fight against since they go directly towards the generator, so it requires a little pre-planning. Also yes, I know the "building space" is tiny, I was planning on remaking the map entirely. It annoys me too, don't worry. And no, each Medic army heals 10 "HP" per healing, so those are one of the armies that find the "Disperse" command a little more useful. I've been thinking of doing something in terms of "matching" healing amounts (1:1 etc), but not exactly sure yet. @Dr Stampy's second message: Vehicles are harder to take out the end.

what does tl;dr mean? also do you mean stronger as in they have tougher armor or units in general are not good against them also i still think they need a buff  edit: i like the big titles...

too long;didn't read They have tougher armor. And I really don't know what you're talking about in terms of weapons. The vehicles with Gatling Guns aren't supposed to be "super strong", they're supposed to be quick. Besides, the Gatling Gun has the strength of like, a Scout. While Tanks are like better armored, faster Artillerymen. Their weapons have the same exact stats. The only downside to Tanks is they take longer and more resources to build. And Firecrackers are like airborne Tanks that can't shoot for shit but are still strong nonetheless. Vehicles are much more useful than you think; just try playing without them. A mistake I made during Intercontinental Tuesday.
Also Stampy, there'll be an options menu. For now, the options menu will only have graphical related stuff and the ability to shut off music. One of the options will be to turn off the "[name] PHASE" title things. You don't have to, since it's an option. You can still have them on.
