Well I decided to end my "little" break today and get back to work on this. So for the time being, I'll host the FLS community at home. I still gotta finish up the Community stuff because yeah, I took a break. Also Rodo, I won't be releasing anything until the Community's done. And I haven't gotten around to fixing that problem yet. That'll be my first order of business. Also, before my break I made another little optimization fix. You see, it constantly fog-checked, and since there are often many tiles, the game would tend to lag when more units were present. The school computers would lag on this game with like, 6 units present, which really brought this to my attention. So I figured the best way to fog check without lagging would be to only do it when necessary. So rather than doing it every step, it now only fog-checks when new units are created, units are moved, dispersed, combined, etc. And now the school computers can run FLS just fine, double client even.

Once again I make a retarded, small mistake and overlook it.
For a while I hadn't known why income upgrading wasn't working. Turns out, at some point in development I had accidentally made the script check the wrong variable. Oh well, that's fixed now. Also, I made it so a little info thing appears when you select a ComSat that shows your current income rate, and the cost of the next upgrade (if you can't upgrade, the bar will be red and will just have "---" rather than "$#K"). And the menu will now only close if the income upgrade was successful, and will make a noise basically telling the player whether they could or could not. Then, I made if the player moves their cursor over a unit, it'll show who that unit belongs to. And lastly, I made it so you can no longer start the war if at least 2 players have the same name and/or color.
I'm wondering if the same happened with clients trying to chat...

You should make it so if 2 players have the same color they're on the same team. Could allow for interesting gaems.

I know I've seen this before but for FLS it would be OP you'd be attacking much more responsively you'd have to prioritize much less right now a major part of your planning phase is thinking about how you're going to play out your attack turn, deciding which units your opponent will snap off in what order, every unit you lose while commanding is another wasted moment you aren't using to command a different unit

The chat problem was a small, overlooked programming error
I hate myself. But on the bright side, chat's fixed. FINALLY.
And Apt, I was already planning on programming teams in the future. They will not share the same color as that will be confusing, but will still have some sort of indicator showing they are friendly. I've planned a little on what I'll do as far as teamplay goes. Still debating on whether or not I should allow teammates to share resources with each other (not have the same exact resources, but are allowed to give some to their allies). Decided against "gifting" units to allies. Decided that Medics and Mechanics would heal allied units as well. Possessed units would also (ensuring that they are able to) sometimes attack allied units. Etc.
