So here's the dealio: The next build probably won't come out for a long-ish time. This is because I'm also going to start working on the campaign, and of course, full AI. I've started devising a story for the campaign so yeah.

I thought what Rodo and Apt did during IT was dickish.
So some of my friends at school know about Front Line Strike and have taken the tutorial, but being nearly clueless about computers (well, compared to us, anyway), have not actually played yet. So me and someone else played a short two player game on Monday and a few of my friends got interested so the next day we played a three player game (this is all during my Video Production class). Sadly, classes only last about 40 minutes, and we wait about 5 minutes for everyone to get here so we really only have about half an hour to play. Nonetheless, we still do play. Today we finally got to play a four player game. King of the Hill on Rockin' Around. The one friend who is the best out of the three captured the flag first, as I was busy setting up my base. I already knew beforehand that two of them were going to team up against me, but what I didn't know was all three of them were teaming up against me. Needless to say, I actually did end up winning. I was keeping two of my friends at bay while building Garages and such. They never thought to try and destroy the Tanks I was building, so I kept building those. 40 Tanks, 45 Snipers, 25 Soldiers, 15 Reapers, 5 Medics, and 5 Mechanics by the time I started retaliating. Took out the Snipers my one friend was trying to pick off my Workers with (army of 25 he had). Cleared out the flag area another friend was holding (he had a 35 Soldier on there, the Reaper helped get rid of that though, and also a 45 Arsonist but I took her out before she could actually do anything), and when I would have nothing else to shoot, I would simply pick off the little 5 Artillerymen armies the last friend kept sending out (it was his first time playing, but he always watched us play). 2 days left, started capturing the flag. The bell rang though, so it was time to leave. We quickly finished it up, I held flag for 10 days, I won, the end.
Though jokingly (or at least, I assume it is), one of my friends accuses me of cheating.
Anyway, next time we're playing a legitimate team game, and the one friend who has said he's scared to really attack me at all (the one who only attacked me with that 25 Sniper and that was it) said he'd be on my team. And the one who is the best out of my irl friends so far said I am his "arch-rival" in FLS.
Anyway, this is encouraging me to work on FLS again. Playing FLS encourages me I guess so yeah.

Also I'm skipping out on the whole "Amory abilities" thing. Right now I'm planning on how each difficulty of the bots will function. There will be 4 or 5 difficulties. Confirmed difficulties are...
-Newbie (plays like most people who are new to FLS does, for example: no combining/dispersing, erratic construction, will not build a ComSat)
-Casual (somewhat more correlated construction pattern, will still build at a pretty slow rate, will still not disperse armies but will combine them, uses ComSat more frequently (if built))
-Moderate (logical construction pattern, builds human/vehicle resource buildings ahead of time, puts ComSat and Armory at top of construction priorities, will disperse more often, will build at a fair rate)
-Veteran (intelligent construction pattern, careful use of resources, will target units based on how dependent you are on them rather than army size alone, will build quickly, will actually set up designated defense units that will not be used in offensive pushes)
Computers will be able to have separate difficulty levels. They will randomly choose a color and name. If you guys would like to be put on the computer name list, just tell me so and tell me which color you'd like to be associated with (only one color). HOW Red, AHA Blue, and UGH Green are already taken. They will use the army commander's name (ex: UGH Green would be Maxwell Lonam). Black is taken by me.

I guess I'll take Lost Yellow then.
Edit: Also will there be any chance to be able to make custom icons like you planned in the older Front Line Strike?

Oh. I may or may not do that, I dunno.
Also, I'm still debating on whether or not I should make the campaigns alternate realities (like in the very first FLS) or make them "flowing" campaigns where the story is consistent from one campaign to the next (meaning first would be HOW, then AHA, then UGH).

I would do Alternate Realities, but in flowing campaigns you have one story to stick to, so its much more easier. Are there going to be menu screens for campaign selections, and are they going to be different for each team?

Alternate realities would be easier to start each army's story off with, though, and from there I can develop easier. The reason I'm not really up for flowing campaigns is because the HOW campaign would get rather redundant chasing down the AHA the whole time since the AHA would have to exist since their campaign would be next, and the UGH wouldn't really have much of a campaign at all.
Also, could you please elaborate? I'm sorry, I can't really think very clearly right now.
