I came up with this.

Although it may seem small, I couldn't find anymore significant colors that should be included. I'm trying to create a universal colorset, and would like some help and criticism.

Do post your own!

EDIT: This is supposed to be a collaborative project, and I'd like to gather type-specific colors into one .paint file that we can all use.

Good thing you put the copyright notice on there because I'm sure tons of people would want to steal that and sell it for a profit.

Making a "regular" colorset that everyone will use in their maps I think he thought this would be stickied. If I was harsh sorry.

No I don't expect it would be stickied.

I was just thinking about getting together some mapmakers to contribute their colors used in their maps so we can have an all-purpose colorset.

Its just a thought.

Make different colorsets for different scenes. Like a sand colorset, snow, industrial etc.

This is my thought.

I was thinking some type of large paint file which has different sections with different titles/names, and allows people to pick and choose what they want.

I'm thinking of salvaging colors from current maps, do you guys think its okay?

Eh. I personally prefer to get my own colours, but this may be a decent idea.

You could never guess it.

This is all the "brownish" colors in lumberyard.

Yes, they're all different. I checked.
