Hats, the new weapons from Alt Weapons Mod and some from other sources and games, the new secret class, one-use grenades, and Alka-Seltzer for the Bad Manviches. OMG are u kiding me!!! FINALLY!!! I needed that Alka-Seltzer so much!! this will be GREAT

Basically nothing. What. No really, what exactly is in the next update? they're removing quote and curly, making the ammo exactly like tf2, adding dispensers & teleporters, alt weapons, hats and most importantly, it's going to be 3D

(Edit: Serious, not trying to be rude. Switching to UDP would instantly improve lag many times over.)

Do you have any idea how long that'd take to re-write 2 years worth of code for networking just to switch protocols?

The original netcode was completely dependend on everyone getting every update in the right order, because after the initial sync it only transmitted player input. If any update had been missed it would result in ever-groving desync. After the compo everything was very busy and I changed the netcode to the current concept which doesn't force such a tight sync, but much of the code still relies on the stability provided by TCP.
